Hello, First time talking on here (have built a triwave and noise swash). Saw mention of a depth control for the LFO on the swash but I haven't seen any instructions on how to do this. Anyone have any ideas on how to implement this? I built my swash from a PC board I bought but it only has LFO speed.

Thanks,
David

well, youre going to have to experiment.. one idea is to put a pot in series with the LFo circuit and the main circuit. on the pcb version 2.3 theres a long trace that goes from the LFO switch to the tone section, cut that and replace it with a pot. Youll have to experiment to find a good value...

I've just tried these two ways: 1)Feed the LFO output into a 1K pot a la the Tremulus Lune, with a 4.5 V bias voltage. 2)Same, but take out the 100 ohm resistor
from the LFO . Either way brings out some interesting sounds. I just wired one up with an on/off/on switch between the LFO and where it goes into the main Swash circuitry. (Using small boards.)

The 1K
pot lugs would be: 1) LFO output, 2) to LFO switch, 3) to 1K/1K voltage divider to get 4.5V. It might work with straight 9V, but I haven't tried that yet.

The effect is more mellow with the 100 ohm resistor out. Plenty of bass with only a little treble cut. With the 100 ohm at full depth, LFO effect is about the same as without depth pot.

Also, there's one resistor in the tone section that seems to block the LFO. I can't remember which one. It was a mistake at the time, using a 100k that was supposed to be 10K or 1K.

Hmmm.. what's this? are you on the version 2.2 or 2.3 board?

old board, small one, point-to-point. I think it was one of the 1K or 10K resistors in the tone section, component side, sort of in the diamond-shaped area.
