can i mod my phaseur for true bypass? [message #626] Sat, 17 January 2004 15:52 Go to next message

i followed the instructions for truebypassing for my tremulus, but that diagram came out of the tremulus mods section, and the regular in-switch-out diagram for the tremulus looks different than the in-switch-out diagram for the phaseur (though i might have this wrong)
so if i want to add true bypassing to my phaseur what should i do
thanks folks

everything should be identical. you should be able to wire the phaseur up for true bypassing by following the diagram exactly.

they aren't quite identical, the phaseur board connects to the - end of the LED and the tremulus board connects to the + end of the LED
for truebypass, the + end of the LED connects to "+LED" on the board and the - end of the LED connects to on/off 5, so i could switch them and run the - end of the LED to "-LED" and the + end to on/off 5, but with my limited electronics knowledge, i'm not sure i'm ready to take that step till i have someone's approval-
thanks

woops
ok, well my dad explained this to me- it looks like things should work

now, for some reason my main lfo is more of a saw wave than a sin wave- i have to poke around and see what's messed up... hmm

the phaseur LFO is a triangle wave generator, not a sine.. and its symmetry changes a bit as the speed changes.. that's normal...
