First off I'll tell you I'm a complete noob to this.
Why start here? Why not? Laughing

As a few others have done, I'm not getting the LED's to blink/suspected LFO issue.

I'm using the 4ms official kit, built in the enclosure provided...version 2.4.2

Gain knob works, I get a volume boost.
I also get a volume boost from shining a light inside the pedal.

LED's are solid (not blinking).
The smoothness knob appears to effect the internal LED. It starts faint and gets bright until maybe 1/2-3/4 of the way through the sweep when the lights and sound cut out (the entire unit seemingly loses power). Fully clockwise the light/sound comes back on.

Besides smoothness and gain the other knobs have no audible effect.

For both chips I'm looking at it
1 8
2 7
3 6
4 5

4558
Pin1 7.3
Pin2 7.3
Pin3 0.2
Pin4 0.0
Pin5 .04
Pin6 6.8
Pin7 6.8
Pin8 8.2

TL072
Pin1 4.1
Pin2 4.1
Pin3 4.1
Pin4 0.0
Pin5 4.1
Pin6 4.1
Pin7 4.1
Pin8 8.2

7809 (looking at flat side left to right 1-2-3?)
Pin 1 8.2
Pin 2 0.0
Pin 3 9.6

Oh and I fudged the TL072 a bit with my ham fists...broke pin 7 so I soldered a bare wire in it's place...not sure if that could be an issue.

Here's a shot of my work...be gentle.

I appreciate any advice/help.
Thanks Razz

Woops! that 470 ohm resistor (yellow purple brown gold) below the 4558 should be a 470k (yellow purple yellow gold). Probably was our fault, sending you the wrong one. Let me know if you need a replacement sent. Sorry about that!
