hey guys, first post here - i'm bouta order a lune pcb and am trying to source my own parts for the first time (although i have built pedals before, trying to save a bit more $ this time). i'm having a bit of trouble choosing the parts... mostly because i know next to nothing about electronics. i'm not asking for a science lesson, but if anyone could just point me in the right direction on some specific parts that would be uh-mazing.

is this the right 1/4" jack? http://www.mouser.com:80/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=NYS2343 virtualkey56810000virtualkey568-NYS234-3

will these knobs fit? http://www.mouser.com:80/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=45KN013 -GRXvirtualkey56100000virtualkey45KN013-GRX

i hear metal-film resistors are the best choice. i've gone with all smallbear metal-films (which seem to be unavailable on mouser), is that the right call?

does this work for a 330 pf cap?http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=969

is this ok for the yellow led, even though it's green? http://www.mouser.com:80/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=351-550 0-RCvirtualkey50000000virtualkey351-5500-RC

also, i'm totally clueless as to which superbright red led to buy, and what an led clip even is...

how quickly does the lune eat batteries? if it's not bad i think i'll skip the power supply.http://www.smallbearelec.com/Detail.bok?no=969

and, finally, which silicon diodes should i order?

i'm really really sorry for being such a pain. i am a bit lost though, but desperate to get to work on this thing. looks absolutely amazing.

thanks so, so much,
derek

so i've done a bit more searching and (hopefully) learning and i think i've got everything sorted out except for the LEDs. so you guys can skip my essay above, if you could just tell me if i can get a green instead of yellow LED (same mouser #, 351-5500), or if i should get yellow, mouser 351-5300. is that LED just the one that sticks out of the enclosure? in which case i guess it wouldn't matter.

and which superbright red LED should i get?

thanks so much.

The green or the yellow LED will work, it's purely an aesthetic choice! They are both T1-3/4 (aka 5mm), so they fit into a hole in the enclosure (1/4" hole with an appropriate LED clip, try 593-CLP129)
