Hello all. This is my first post.

Here goes...

I'm a complete beginner. I own a soldering iron and have done some simple soldering but nothing more. My knowledge of electronics is minimal. Yet, I find myself drawn to the challenge of building my own Triwave Picogenerator (The Works, no less).

I have coveted one for a long time, but the price of a ready-made version has always been prohibitive. So... I keep returning and eyeing up the cheaper option of building one myself.

Is it foolish of me to think I can order the kit and build this monster as a first project?

You've already answered my question. I thought I'd looked well enough, but I've only just seen the Kits FAQ.

I think I'll be waiting a while until I tackle the Triwave...
