I built my second try of the Fuzz Jade, I did the first one on cardboard and figured I must have mucked up the point to point stuff, so I did the second one on perf board. Same thing, no sound whatsoever.
I started probing around and the farest the signal seems to go is to the junction of the first transistor and the 100k resistor, after that the signal appears nowhere else. Any ideas what it may be?

what transistors are you using? it may be possible they have reversed pin-outs
Measure the voltages at each pin on each transistor. If the signal is only making it to the base of the first xistor, that's not very far!

sounds like the transistors aren't getting power. Trace the power rail starting at the power source positive. looking at the photo it could be a non-connection at one of the V+ junctions

What are your voltages on each pin of the transistors? Sorry I don't have a reference table for these, but in general you're looking for 0.6V difference between base (center) and emitter (left side when holding the transistor so you can read the words).
