I finished the Nocto kit and there is no sound when the pedal is engaged.

What I have done:
Checked that all the parts in the right place
Checked all solder joints and double checked for any touching
Checked DC voltage to the 4558 IC and it's getting 5 volts (correct I think)
Checked AC voltage from the 4558 on pin 7 when strummed and it jumps to 1.5
Messed with trim pots

Any help would be great.

Cheers,
Josh

Hi Josh,

We already talked on the phone but I want to document this as it might help others along....

With the voltmeter on "AC Volts", you should around 1.0-2.0V on pin 1 and pin 7 of the 4558 IC when a guitar is strummed and the Nocto is in "green/sane" mode (black lead on ground, red lead on the IC pins)
Following the signal path, you should also get about the same AC voltage at pin 7 of the 4049 IC, and a little higher AC voltage on pins 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2.
